Gearbox has officially announced that Borderlands 4 will be released on September 23, 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Players can look forward to new gameplay mechanics, including double jumping, gliding, dodging, and fixed-point grappling. The game will feature new Vault Hunters, a plethora of new weapons, and a mix of new and familiar characters.
Xbox Series X: The Ultimate Console for Power and Performance
Microsoft’s Xbox Series X stands out as the most powerful home console, surpassing the PlayStation 5 in raw specifications. It offers impressive features like super-fast loading times, quick game swaps, and extensive backward compatibility. However, the console faces challenges with exclusivity, as many of its exclusive titles are also available on PC through Microsoft’s Game Pass. For those without a gaming PC, the Xbox Series X offers a balance of power and convenience at a competitive price.
Ayaneo 3: A Powerful Handheld Gaming Console
The Ayaneo 3 is a highly powerful handheld gaming console released in 2025, described as an advanced successor to Valve’s 2022 Steam Deck. It runs modern, visually intensive games that the aging Steam Deck can’t handle anymore. Starting at $799 for a less powerful model and reaching up to $2,099 for a high-end version, the Ayaneo 3 targets enthusiasts willing to invest significantly in handheld gaming. Despite its impressive hardware, users must be prepared to deal with complexities typical of Windows gaming, making it better suited for seasoned PC gamers.
